Breast enlargement with implants

In breast enlargement surgery it is important to achieve full, beautiful breasts of a natural appearance that emphasizes femininity and corrects previous deficiencies such as asymmetry, underdeveloped breasts or empty breasts after delivery and breastfeeding. The implants we use are filled with the latest generation of cohesive silicone gel, and patients in consultation with the physician are able to choose between two types of implants, anatomical or tear shape or round, depending on the look they want to achieve. Breast augmentation usually takes about two hours and is performed under general anesthesia. The incision is most often placed beneath the breast in the natural breast crease and is thus very difficult to see afterwards. Usually the patient remains in the Polyclinic until the next day for safety and monitoring purpose. After the surgery, a soft, comfortable compression bra is worn for four to six weeks in order to reduce postoperative swelling and prevent implant movement. Normal activities are gradually returned to over the next two to three weeks, while more strenuous activities can be enjoyed after six weeks. Many clients can return to work activities within 7 days of the operation.
