An eyebrow lift is a surgical procedure by which we tighten the skin of the forehead and raise lowered eyebrows. The result of this surgery is the removal of the forehead wrinkles with subsequent lift of the eyebrows, giving the patients a younger and fresh appearance. The patient, in agreement with the aesthetic surgeon undergoes this procedure if the eyebrows are depressed or if the patient has significant forehead wrinkles. Patients also undergo this procedure if improvement cannot be adequately achieved by non-surgical rejuvenation methods. The incisions are usually positioned in the hair so that the scar remains invisible after surgery. In cases where the patient has a high-raised forehead or considerably lowered eyebrows, a direct lift with incisions placed in the eyebrow skin folds is performed.
