A mini face lift is a surgical procedure that corrects the relaxed and hanging skin of the face which cannot be adequately resolved by non-surgical methods. This procedure gives the patient a younger, smoother and refreshed look with results lasting up to ten years. Minimal scar face lifting is most commonly performed in middle aged patients with excess skin in the middle and lower part of the face. This is a basic surgical procedure. The surgery is performed under local-regional anesthesia. When performing a mini face lift, we also use the principle of deep lifting (SMAS lift), during which, apart from the skin itself, the deep muscular-aponeurotic layer of the face is tightened. This guarantees a longer lasting and more stable result. The scars after the MACS lift are hidden in the hair and in the folds in front of the ear. After recovery, it is very difficult to notice them at all.
